Merry Christmas everyone! Wishing you and family and friends the very best of the holidays and into the new year.

My SO (soon to be Mrs. Teslinhiker) arrived home from the Philippines a couple of days ago and she has been sleeping a lot of hours since. Hopefully she does not sleep through Christmas!!

Here on the balmy Canadian west coast today, it is 50F and sunny. So unlike many of fellow my Canuck friends here on ETS, we will not be enjoying a white Christmas.

Regards,
Teslin

Merry Christmas!

Just had my first small piece of Christmas Rum Cake. Small because it's early. Outstanding, but no more until dinner and then I'll eat dessert first wink

Best wishes to all for a very happy and healthy holiday and new year. May your preps be complete, up to date and well organized, and may none of them be needed.

Merry Christmas! Me and the girls got some much-needed time in the woods today collecting mushrooms and other wild edibles and also building a fire with flint and steel. This helped balance out all the candy, cookies, and crap that comes with holidays.

Anyone get any cool survival gear?

We Pilothouse personnel have gotten into the habit of given different types of Survival Goodies as Christmas presents. This Year I gave a pocket fishing multi tools to the crew: tape measure, scale, knife, fish scaler, scissors, flashlight, & a few other tricks.

I hreceived a knife set which included a small multi tool as well.
