A non-cutting tool (e.g. Pockttoolx Pirahna), and a separate pair of round nose scissors (i.e. Gingher pocket scissors) may be a better choice then a multitool. Trauma shears, for all their toughness, tend to make hash out of the lighter weight materials and are less then confortable on clamshell packaging.
