Last week was "earthquake weather."
There is a time of year when the seasons change and we go from a bit of a cool climate to a warm, almost oppressive heat that last 3-7 days, such as it was last week.
I am sure there is an official explanation, but many of us have come to call it "earthquake weather." Not easy to explain, but just a feeling in the air as the cold weather turns hot a bit too fast and there is an uneasiness that one feels.

I am about 1 mile from the beach and I figure if I live here long enough, I will have beachfront property. It may only be for a fraction of a second, but I will.
