I would heartily agree with one statement in their literature - "A little light goes a long way when your eyes are adjusted to the dark." in fact, if your eyes indeed are well adjusted to the dark, you will find very little need for a low level light source of this type. You will be able to do just fine by starlight, to say nothing of a full moon.

Can't say I'm too enthusiastic -- looks like a solution in search of a problem. There probably are some specialized applications where this will work just fine.
