Elnath: Thanks! That's really helpful to know. I like your idea about the platypus bag, but it would still require that one find a source of water to make the solution.

That's not unreasonable, but for this kit I'd prefer to have the irrigation solution all ready to go. So I'd probably use your dilution information to make a solution and store it in a small squeeze bottle (hence the "8 ounce" idea) with an appropriate nozzle top.
