I've got a Blackhawk E&E Drop Pouch for my PSK. It comes with belt loops, but for a variety of reasons, belt clips would be much more convenient for me.

Does anyone know where I can get just plain belt clips, hopefully with some convenient way of attaching them to the existing belt loops? I Googled a bit, but "belt clip" is not exactly a narrow search term. Or perhaps there's a company that does such conversions?

Thanks,

Kevin

you could try alice clips. they are kind of tricky to use, but they'd attach right onto the existing loops.

Yeah, I've tried ALICE clips and the results weren't stellar. If all else fails, I'll just buy some cell phone holsters, then do some cutting and sewing.

You may try a product from Maxpedition. They are called Malice clips. They work similar to Alice clips, but are plastic and have an attaching mechanism similar to plastic tie wraps. Go to www.maxpedition.com. Hope this helps. I currently carry their "Fatboy" shoulder bag as my everyday bag and can say I love it.

A photographer buddy pointed me to this site:

http://www.clipsystems.com/catalogue.html

It's a clip system for electronic items that uses a clip-plus-button approach. My plan is to get two Beltless Clips and two Camera Buttons. The Camera buttons have screws in them for attaching to camera mounting points.

I'll try using a soldering iron to melt a small hole in the existing nylon belt loops, then simply bolt the loops to the buttons using a washer and nut. Not only will I have belt clips, but the pouch should be removable without unclippling--just rlease the buttons.

I will report once I have made an attempt.

Brigade has what you are asking for:
http://www.actiongear.com/
Catalogue number ALC302 "Alice Equipment Belt Adapter".
A few minutes sewing with a bit of seat belt webbing and two ALICE clips would achieve as much.
