you could also use tyvek sheets to print or write on.

heck no ... it's a LOT easier just to lose your checklist on the first day. After that - you can blame everything else on the missing checklist :-)

Yeah, me too. My checklist is in my head. However, as my brain gets older, I sometimes I have the idea that perhaps I should make up some formal checklists to make sure I don't forget anything critical....but then I forget to make the checklist.

Waterproof paper in plastic sleeves for occasional stuff.
Lamination for ones that get heavy use.
