I used Shoe-Goo on a pair of running shoes that needed a small piece relaminated, That repair worked fine and is still holding 6 months later. Depending on how much you like those boots, the sole can be replaced or you can toss them. As I understand even Vibram soles can be replaced, it's just a matter of $$.
