Hi guys (and girls grin) I just came across this jacket. Basically a 3/4ish length jacket made from a water proof fleece, price seems a little steep but I've never seen any like it before.

Your thoughts? Anyone else seen anything similar?

I have seen similar jackets made from wool blankets.

Interesting, I might give that a try with some fleece blankets. Do you know any websites that might have plans?

I noticed it's a new zealand site. It basically looks like a traditional new zealand Swandri bush shirt, but from fleece instead of wool.

The Swandri is heavy and the wool is itchy, but durable and spark proof.
