Good review and good pictures.

As a friend of mine always says, "Free is my favorite color!"

I can't take credit, barbarian. Someone here on ETS called it that years ago and it's stuck with me. Don't know who it is that I'm ripping off though, so can't give credit where credit is due.

bacpacboy and I took our wyominglostandfound tarp teepee out for our first overnight this week. It ROCKED! I loved it!

It's light, packs smaller than our Eureka tent with way more room inside. I used a 6 ft centre pole, and probably could have gone higher. It was high enough for me to stand up in, and sturdy enough for my son and his new friends to use as a hiding place while they were playing. I really like that you can open the door wide open, and hook the tie offs on the tent stakes for the next panel. It was easy to pitch and easy to take down. The tie-offs inside gave me a place to hang an LED lantern and also our bug net, which we didn't end up needing.

Because the sides weren't snuggly on the ground, and there is no floor, bacpacboy was a little worried about animals getting in. I put a couple rocks on the edges and that made him feel better. We slept with it open most of the night an he didn't even notice he slept so well.

Overall, we give it two thumbs up!

Here's a few pics:
