yes, but only in cold weather. (3 out of 4 seasons) I like Thinsulate fleece gloves most of the time, the kind that are gloves with a pocket over the finger tips. The exceptions are:
-when it's cold and wet, I'll upgrade to a pair of ski gloves
-I sometimes just use a liner glove if it's not too cold
-I keep a pair of leather work gloves in my pack too, for wood processing, handling hot pots/pans/bottles/cups, and potential hazards. (I.e. old barbed wire fences, broken glass)
