It is a great vapor barrier but am not to sure how waterproof it is. Would like to learn more about that.

It does get noisy in the wind. To cut that down, my friends took the sheets of tyvek to the coin op laundromat (top loader) which seemed to make it a bit softer.

With duct tape I made a bivy out of the material I had.

Lots of options with this stuff.
