It does get noisy in the wind. To cut that down, my friends took the sheets of tyvek to the coin op laundromat (top loader) which seemed to make it a bit softer.

With duct tape I made a bivy out of the material I had.

Lots of options with this stuff.

A few of the gurus over at Zombie Squad use it for tarps and ground sheets. I figure there must be something to it. A bivvy is a great idea too, Blake. Thanks!

Since this piece was found and won't cost me anything except my time, I figure I'll give it a try and see how it goes.
