Welcome to the forum! Your kit seems well assembled and complete for the most part.

I would consider it somewhat light on water carry and water treatment. Adding something like Potable Aqua iodine tablets or the chlorine version or even some Potasium Permanganate crystals would be a great addition. I would also consider it light on signalling. You have no mirror or whistle. I find that a whistle is usefull enough that I carry one on my keychain and have one in my PSK as well. A signal mirror is very usefull and I think that the StarFlash is the preferred one for bulk, clarity and weight for fitting in a PSK. Don't bother with putting money in there - If you are using the fish-hooks to feed yourself then you won't have use for the money and if you can buy dinner then you don't need the fish-hooks. If you must represent some financial means in there then jot down the numbers of your credit-card on the paper or stick a credit card in there. A credit card makes a great place to wind up the fishing line, floss, thread etc. You are also light on sewing / repair items. Some crazy glue and a needle and thread and some more safety pins and even some buttons will be truely useful. If all you have for a few weeks is what you are wearing when you get dumped in the middle of nowhere by some incident then having the ability to repair your clothes will go a long way to keeping you warm and comfortable. I also find it helpful to have a small fresnel lens with me. This needn't be in the PSK but it would fit in an Otter box.

I would think that a kit this size isn't always with you. It is too large to fit the pocket of normal clothing (as fashioned here in the states) I suppose if your normal outfit is Cargo-Pants then this would be GTG. I would think that if you moved the swiss-card,BCB survival tool and mini-bic out of your PSK then you could get the size down to a more comfortable pocket size. These tools are usefull enough in daily carry that they would be better in a more accessable location loose in another pocket. Consider replacing one of those items in your kit with a signal mirror

A PSK this small is too small to really carry the great tools we would preferr to use while in the wilderness such as a fixed blade knife and a tent so we make do with what we can fit. The reason for making a smallish kit is to have something that represents a fairly complete assortment of the essential tools that we will ALWAYS have with us. If this kit is small enough for you to carry it everywhere in the clothing you most commonly wear then Great.

If this kit is too large to comfortabley wear most of the time then you would do better to make it larger so that you have a minimalist kit for venturing and put it into a butt pack or small day pack. Since you will only be carrying it when you know you may need it it can be bigger.

You might reconsider the Otter Box as a carry item. What in this kit is truely vulnerable to damage by getting a bit wet? Can each of those items be sealed in a ziplock baggie? Can the entire kit be sealed in a zip-lock?

I keep my altoids tin water tight with some electrical tape around the edge backed up by a ranger band and some paracord and another rangerband. Works for me.

Some have gone to using a small nylon or leather zipper pouch because the flexibilty of the bag makes it more comfortable in the pocket. If the contents are in a ziplock baggie then they will be waterproof enough. The otter box will keep your stuff dry if you go diving with it or are submerged in a downed plane for some reason but short of that the ziplock will work just as well.

Some thoughts Hope not to offend just to inform. If you think they have any merrit Great if no Great. but you asked so......
