Thanks guys. We're both healthy, happy and home. She didn't wait for her induction. She arrived safely after a fast and furious labour. We barely had enough time for a spinal and epidural, which thankfully slowed things down long enough for them to pump in some necessary iv antibiotics. She weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces and has the lungs of a symphony orchestra.
There is such a thing as starting them too early. All three of my daughters were practicing their knots and lashings with their umbilical cords - not a good thing!
