I am looking at a maxpedition M5 waistpack for a psk black or od green coler what do you think?.

I think that if you really fill it up, and attach it to your belt, your belt would sag, and you would be uncomfortable. For a few dollars more, you can get a Thermite, with its own belt.

Thought about that but rules at work won't permit it.

Can't tell you how happy I am with the Maxpedition Proteus waist/fanny pack. It's the right size, very well made and the belt is stiff so it "rides" well and doesn't stress my back. Good service from the CountyComm people. I'll be giving some of the smaller Maxpedition pouches as gifts.
