Merry Xmas from a VA heathen! That is the really REALLY cool thing about the United States - something I think folks in some other countries simply can't understand. Those who believe will die to protect others' right to not believe ... in whatever they might or might not believe in ... if that makes sense. Happy holidays to all our heathen friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very Merry Christmas to all y'all!! I don't know if you heard of the Christmas eve/day storms that hit Texas. We, along with 68,000 other Houstonians, lost power around 9am, right after opening presents. It came back on at our place after six hours. This power loss didn't change our Christmas Day at all.  Of course, having backup power supplies helped.  -Blast

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and all that good cheer thing, to all my ETS friends and supporters. It is your participation, assistance and cooperation that helps make this forum worthwhile and a valuable community. I am happy I am still able to maintain this small patch of sanity in a crazy world. We had something of a Christmas miracle today, which being not of the Christian faith is somewhat unusual. We actually located the top of my desk today...it's been a few years...  For those few of you who have seen my office, you can appreciate the miracle and be appropriately shocked.  I wish the very best for all of you and yours this holiday season and throughout the coming new year.

We had something of a Christmas miracle today . . . We actually located the top of my desk today...it's been a few years...
Doug, When I was in the military that happened about twice a year for me. I just brought over the trash can and swiped the whole desk into it. I figured if someone hadn't asked for whatever it was on my desk in that time, neither I nor they needed it. It worked!! I am glad you had a personal miracle. I know we all are more than grateful for your efforts.

I work in a painfully typical office cube environment. After 20 years in business I've had my office moved enough that I've trimmed my "stuff" down to TWO boxes, my chair, and my computer gear (monitor, ...).
By the time I retire I hope to just walk out the door with a big grin on my face.
