The "negative" in the title is a hook to grab your attention and encourage people to read it, just because it seems contrary to what they normally hear. The article just focuses on the need to have a more practical and realistic outlook on life, rather than a blindly, and unrealistically, optimistic one. I posted it here because this is a community of people who try to be more realistic about what life holds, and to prepare for potential bad times. The article is not about negative people, or about negative attitudes, it is actually supporting positive attitudes towards hardship. It did not appear to me to be controversial in any way, and I posted it here as an example of how the "prepper" attitude is positive and good, and that this supported it. I wish I could have posted the entire article. Any complete reading of it would have made these points apparent, at lest I think it would have.
