I have been thinking about getting a hammock but I am a big guy and the hammocks suitable for me are pretty pricey. So I was thinking of making one.

This one is big and rated for 350 pounds and costs less then the material I would have to buy to make one.

A few posts on a hammock forum convinced me that despite zero information available on the brand name that for $25, I am not going to get hurt real bad.

Somewhere I saw a post that suggested Yukon Outfitters is essentially a Woot house brand.

I saw that too but I also didn't know anything about it. Probably should have tried it just to see at that price.

Nice find, but sold out. I have something similar but waterproof and with additional rings along the perimeter for conversion to a tarp like shelter. Like it a lot.

It came in the mail yesterday. I will have to see if I can set it up next week and try it in the yard.
