Good morning.

Just thought I would post a quick hello to everyone.

I live on the English side (just) of English / Scottish Borders. Because of the area, hills, open moors and managed woodland, I spend most of my free time walking.

I teach first aid and a few health and safety subjects around the country, so often spend a lot of the time living out of hotels. In the past I have been caught out a few times and spent the night in the car due to snow.

Most of my “survival” interests revolve around dealing with cold / wet climate and an unplanned night outdoors as well as getting out of a hotel in a fire (been in a couple of false alarms, usually while in the shower).

Off to sit in the corner with a brew and do some reading.
