I found a useful link I thought I'd pass on (complements of Latitudes and Attitudes magazine). It leads you to a pdf copy of the "Ships Captain's Medical Guide" by the UK's Maritime and Coastguard Agency. I've waded though some of it and have already learned some new things.

Excellent link! Thanks for posting it. I learned a few things, and have downloaded the entire thing for reference ... I was intrigued by the What to do with Dead People section and Burial at Sea. Some days, that looks most appealing! <img src="images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
