How much heat is needed?

would a kerosene lamp be enough?

https://www.lehmans.com/p-175-dietz-jupiter-hurricane-oil-lantern.aspx
Deitz- Jupiter 84 ounce kerosene tank runs 72 hours.
""supposedly"" used to heat green-houses.

I have 2 sizes of the buddy heats- the very small 3800 BTU one (39.00 regular, got for 19.- spring clearance)

and next size up - portable 4000/8000 59.00 clearance at Lowes.

I have used all three of them in our garage in the winter- they all "help"

The propane adapter for large tanks is well worth its cost, and you can pick up extra tanks for 20.00....

Lehman's is a great resource, as is Cumberland Store (little more techy, than Amish like). I have been to Lehman's store several times in Kidron Ohio. Cool place.

Am Fear,

I for one appriciate the detail you go into. While I am no techy on the details/numbers, it bears out in use.

Thanks, Ironwood

Highly regarded in the RV community, well built and long lasting and very efficient.I lived for years with one like this in a bus.You can stick paper up against heat pad portion directly and it will not flame.Add a CO monitor they are darn safe.Keep catalytic pad clean for it to work well.
