I may have missed something in the past threads so, I wish to check if there are any updates on new Mini whistles from Fox 40? I was thinking that these might have been included in Dougs rather than other brands in the new Adventure Travel Survival Kits.
Thanks .

Win,

Not exactly sure what you are asking. The new "slim" FOX-40 whistle, which is being called the "Rescue Howler" by AMK, has been developed exclusively for Adventure Medical Kits for the Pocket Survival Pak. It is certainly possible that it might replace the existing FOX-40 "Classic" whistle used in AMK's "Essentials" survival/medical kits, and that wouldn't surprise me, but at this point I am not aware of them planning that. Not that they would necessarily tell me, of course. <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> AMK will be selling the Rescue Howler by itself with an MSRP of $4.99.

I believe that Fox-40 will have their own version of this whistle which will be about an inch or so longer and incorporate an integral carbiner clip. No idea about expected availability or price.

Hope this answers your question.
