We are all used to seeing batteries in the common sizes of:<br>AAA, <br>AA, <br>C and <br>D. <br><br>What happened to the A and B sizes? Anybody ever seen one? Just curious.

Sounds like you are bored. The really scary part is I know the answer. Yes the "a" and "b" batteries do exist or at least did. They are most often found in older industrial equipment.
