An SDR radio app, which could connect via USB to a Funcube Dongle Pro+ would be useful rather than using a on line server.

The SDR radio service is already available for some android phones with FM radio chip onboard (I have used it with my old HTC HD2 smartphone, it's amateur development project on the XDA-forums). Works well with supporting GPS car navigation apps.

The Funcube dongle is a 3rd party hardware. To use it with the phone we need the device driver for Android from the manufacturer first.
