Utterly amazing to me is the amount of people that don't even know how to open their own hood. You ask them to pop the hood and they spend a half hour looking for the release button/lever.

Maybe it's because I've got a CDL so I'm in the habit of doing safety checks, but I'm always looking under the hood, looking at the tires, looking under the vehicle, making sure my brake lights and blinkers work, ect. I mean, it's not just my safety that I'm responsible for, but the safety of my passengers and anyone else on the road.
