Just an update on my Chia seed experience. I've been eating them before workouts and in between meals throughout the day. First of all, eaten right before a workout, they don't weigh you down at all and tide you over very well until you can eat a meal. Very easy to digest. I also discovered they keep you regular if you know what I mean. Added bonus I suppose.
I keep an old pill bottle filled with Chia in my bag for a quick snack. Have water handy when you eat them though as they absorb up to 10X their weight in water.
