Maybe it's not selling well? I almost bought one, but while in store looking at reviews on my phone I found a lot of people say it works perfectly in your kitchen, but really hit and miss outside (according to their own test strips).

It did get pull off the market... It's now discontinued.
I assume other products simply got more love over the years, such as their Miniworks EX filter. Simple, effective, no batteries required, and no special salts either.
