Good article. I was surprised to see in the article that a green t-shirt provided better protection than a white one. I would have instinctively believed white would be better but they pointed out how much difference dyes, weave, etc. can make with UV.
The white shirt will probably (I don't know the reflectivity of white cotton in the UV) reflect more UV than the green one, but that which remains will be absorbed by the green dyes but not the white fabric.
