Is it just me? Or is the forum search not working?

I searched EDC, no results. I searched BOB, no results. I searched pen, no results (and I know there are threads out there on all these subjects).

Funny thing is, I searched knife and got 200 hits.

The search issue seems to be with anything under 4 letters. Any searches for 3 letter words are returning no results (i searched bag and sak among others with no results). 4 letter words such as food, and other longer words seem to return results with no problems.

Go to Google or Yahoo and use the following phrase for searching:
Site:forums.equipped.org (subject matter, e.g. "evaucation plans")

They both reconize boolean logic to cut down on junk hits. The down side is they will look for similiar expressions when you don;t want them to.

Boolean modifiers
" " = Exact phrase
+ = must include
- = must not include

Example
Site:forums.equipped.org "Is the forum search working"

Thanks Mark. I've been playing around with the ETS search feature, apparently the search engine doesn't support searching with words of less than 4 letters, which stinks because I want to do searches for BOB (even Searching "Bug Out Bag" returns nothing because all three words are 3 letters) and FAK (First being the only word of those over 3 letters I get a lot of unwanted hits). So I am modifying my searches a tad, but I may give your suggestion a try as well. Thanks again.
