These are probably not available in the states but I still wanted to share this info.

Had a chance to try them out at an outdoors fair a couple of weeks ago in Finland.
They come in two flavours, curry chicken and chilli beef. Taste was good enough for me to buy some, to have incase. Two years shelf life makes them ideal for EDC food.

The bigger version of Bullet Meal is originally designed for military use. When you are on the move, you need to eat, and having a 500 kCal ready-to-eat sandwich in your pocket helps a lot. 30 g protein and because of generous use of salt and grease, these are pretty darn tasty too.

This is not a protein bar, and even though it's a vacuum packed, two-year shelf life conserve food, it's as much real food as these things can get. This is not made out of concentrated isolate powders but real fresh ingredients - bread, chicken, vegetables, which makes it a real viable option when it comes to food, not something you're forced to ram down your throat when you desperately need energy. These are tasty!

The point is that you always have a quick-to-eat, nutritious meal with you, with enough calories to actually fulfill some energy needs. Along with the obvious use, these are pretty handy to have around the house too in case of an emergency, like when you can't be bothered to make food and are too lazy to get a pizza. And boy oh boy, these aren't imported from Mexico or anything, but made in Finland from high quality ingredients.

Ingredients: chicken meat, rice, water chestnut, carrot, pepper, soy isolate, oatmeal, rape-seed oil, sugar, water, wheat powder, wheat bran, salt, corn starch, fat powder (palm), wheat glutein, yeast extract, malt extract, guar gum, flavours, aromas. Laktose free.

This is the webshop that sells them in Finland. They deliver all over the world but it probably is quite expencive.

International orders - yes, we do them

Prices are affected by whether or not you order inside the European Union (outside the EU you don't pay VAT). The shipping fees depend on the country of delivery. It's all very easy - just select your country from the dropdown box below - you'll then see exactly what you have to pay. After that, just shimmy over to the online store and place your order.

We take both paypal and bank transfer. With bank transfers, be sure to pay for all the expenses, ours and theirs. We accept no other payment methods, so forget about checks!

PS. I have absolutly no connection to the manufactoring company or the webshop. Just want to share the info.

Interesting! I'd definitely try some if they had a US Distributer, but otherwise shipping would end up being prohibitive.

I always love to see rations and emergency food from other countries, some of it looks good, though I've seen some that would make me strongly consider grubs instead wink

I've had a couple of the Bridgford sandwiches recently and they weren't bad at all.
