Does anyone know about the A2 iPilots issue survival kits with axe, and a saw on the other end, plus a spade that can replace the axe in the handle provded. These went in survival kits in the early 60s
Please let me know of your thoughts.
Thanks,
Oliver

They are an infrequent item on EBAY. The collectors run the prices up beyond reason. Unless you have access to a unit via another source pass them by. I used one in Alaska. The axe head vibrated uncomfortably, bounced off the frozen Alderwood I was chopping and ventilated my windpants and ego.
