Okay, I'll admit it- as much as I love good gear I'm a cheapskate. I hate spending any more than I have to. I'm a big fan of Wiggy's sleeping bags; I have two of them, one I bought used from eBay and the other is a cheaper Slumber. Some of you might know that Wiggy's has been running a 30% off "sale" for the past year. But beyond that they're offering deeper discounts on certain colors and sizes. Well, right now they've got a deal on camo bags that finally pried the CC out of my wallet! grin I ordered a Superlight (0 degree F rated) bag in digicam and in the reg length/extra wide size. Sure, I could stand to loose a couple pounds but that's not why I ordered the large. I've found over the years that I feel borderline claustrophobic in a really tight mummy bag. At any rate, in digicam this bag ends up being around $30 cheaper than the regular sale price. Overall I'm not a huge fan of camo but hey, color doesn't matter while I'm sleeping! wink

Standard disclaimers apply: I don't work for Wiggy's nor am I associated with them in any way aside from being really satisfied with their bags. In 3 season use I've never managed to get thru the night without zipping my 40 degree bag down a bit...they're really warm bags.

Thanks for the heads up. I am not in the market but it was well worth a look. Anyone needing a good bag should consider one of the camo bags at the current sale price. A good buy for the quality and guarantee you get.

I got my bag today- pretty fast! While the bag is awesome there is some "fine print" that has me slightly annoyed. While nearly all the other Wiggy's bags come with a pillow and compression sack the ones that are one "sale" don't come with either. Nowhere does is specifically say it won't, but it doesn't say it does so I guess I can't complain. The lack of a pillow isn't a huge deal since I have a Wiggy's pillow already but the lack of a compression sack basically means I'll have to buy one if I ever want to get the bag in any kind of pack. Also, this deal doesn't qualify for free shipping. All their bags have always been shipped for free, even my $45 Wiggy's Slumber! confused

All in all this is still a good deal if you just need the bag but I probably only saved a few bucks in exchange for a color I wouldn't have ordered in a million years. Caveat emptor! Again, a really good price if you like the color- and the lack of pillow & compression sack is irrelevant if you have the Overbag.

ADDENDUM: After a bit more reading and reflection I think this is actually a better deal than I thought. The Marpat/Digicam/Multicam are significant upcharges, and not all are generally available on all bags. Chalk some of it up to me not exhaustively researching the site, too. After an hour of following threads I did stumble upon a page that explained that this bag would not be shipped for free.

All in all I'm happy with the bag and the deal. Still, if you don't need Camo save some time researching and get a standard bag.
