I have a fan on top of my wood stove that runs on the same Peltier–Seebeck principle. It's been going strong for years.

This should be the basis of a portable, hot, efficient camp stove that runs on local fuels. Get the fire going and then a thermoelectric-powered fan kicks in.

cool! both are nice, but i especially like the second one due to built-in enclosed firebox and fan.
