Save them for the next time a woman gives birth on your couch?
(I had a good couch ruined that way)
Chaos is joking, but I think the idea is right: reserve it for some sort of human use. You can set the paint cans on a sheet of plastic, but it's hard to sleep on plastic.
To Chaos: you can make that couch the dedicated "birthing" couch.
I would agree, save them for some human use. I would be reluctant to use them for a really big bandage. They are not sterile although I'm sure they would be better than a grease rag that you use to check your oil . Also, if your patient needs a bandage that big they are in a SERIOUS world of hurt.
