Please consider making a donation of your old iPad to Knife Rights. We are looking to get a couple older iPads donated to use as Square credit card terminals for Knife Rights at the NRA Annual Meeting coming up in mid-April, Blade Show and and future shows where we will use them to take donations at the booth. IPad 1 or 2, AT&T or Verizon, 16/32/64 MB, doesn't matter. We'll be using WiFi to connect to a MiFi box.

Knife Rights is a 501(c)(4), Knife Rights Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and the iPads will be used for both, so my understanding is that only 50% of the value can be taken as charitable donation for tax purposes. Check with your tax consultant.
