I also keep those little single-use tubes in my EDC bag. I don't use them often, but it's amazing what they can do when needed.

That said, this scenario is the reason I also keep spare glasses in the bag too. wink

I carry 4 of the small tubes in my day pack. I mainly use it to seal small cuts. I take Plavix and that makes your blood less likely to clog. I asked my doctor what to do for cuts that will not stop bleeding. He told me to carry super glue. It works pretty well and has stopped many small bleeders.

Ground horsetail (the plant) makes an excellent blood stopper.

I've had problems with my "single-use" 3M super glue drying out before I can use them. I taken to carrying Krazy Glue just as Kuzushi does. I like that it comes in a container so if it DOES vent, it's only inside the vial it came in.

You can get 4 packs of the single use stuff at Wally-World for about $3.

Definately carry super glue on longer trips. For everything from small cuts, broken materials. Comes in quite handy.

Putting a tube in a watertight match holder will save you from some nasty messes.
