Ugh, I hate it when glasses break! At -6.75 nearsightedness, I completely understand how it must've felt.

I always carry an unopened mini tube of super glue in my larger PSK for this reason. In addition I keep the aforementioned repair kit and an extra pair of glasses in all my kits. Extra contact lenses, as well -- but more for those "Oops, I forgot to pack an extra pair for the business trip" moments as opposed to when there's an actual emergency/disaster. After a few bacterial infections, I'm a real stickler for glasses in rough situations.

Worse case scenario, if you hadn't had the glue, I suppose duct tape and a fine twig could work...
