Good start, but how do you plan on moving that drum?

Adding a pocket camera to my Jeep prep list. wink (Although mine's a Liberty - more of a car than a real Jeep Jeep. Don't expect to do much off-roading with it.)

Mdinana - The drums will be stationary since they'll weigh 470 or so pounds each. Will be adding smaller Jerry Cans for transport if I need to leave the house.

Bacpacjac - We never go anywhere without a camera to take pics. The pond sinkage actually ended up with my fiance's high-end digital camera floating out of the Jeep in it's bag. It was okay after it dried but she was a little pissed. A friend had to take the pic with his camera.

NightHiker - Thanks man. Going tomorrow to grab a food-grade hose to fill the barrel with.

Just glad you've considered that already! grin

I once saw an ad for a pick-up bed water bladder. Something like 200 gallons. There was a tiny footnote - this weighs 1600 pounds loaded! Since then, I've kept an eye on weight distribution with preps. That'd be a rude surprise one day.
