Pete Veteran Registered: 02/20/09 Posts: 1372	So far the best answer seems to be the Wendigo. And I've gotta' say that the guy really gets around ... he's pretty much a globetrotter. I am surprised by the overall lack of coverage about this story in the media. What puzzles me is - if these sounds are a known phenomenon near the Arctic Circle, then why hasn't someone provided more info. Surely the Intuit people must have a name and a tradition for this sort of thing. And if these sounds are abnormal ... why are they happening now?? Pete2
