I know how it is to be very low on the electric company's priority list. where I live we had an ice storm a couple of years ago and the large sub-division just down the road had power after two days. We were out for eight days. I am actually glad it happened though because that's why I first got into prepping. It's surprising how much you can learn in eight days!
