I bought this light as a back up/warning lights for times I work on the accident scene, kayaking and biking. I read about some problems that gentlemen from LED museum experienced with this light but they didn’t seem that concerned with it and they are experts so why should I be. I didn’t even put this light thru any abuse yet. No rough biking or crazy kayaking stuff. During EMT work it was worn on my belt so not much shock and bumps were happening there. All of the sudden the white LED portion of the light failed. I took the battery in and out to play around and maybe "reset" the circuits but it didn't help. Oh well gotta send it back. I just hate when equipment malfunctions in the field for no apparent reason.

I bought a couple of these after reading one of your messages. No problem as of yet, but I can see how the rotating switch might get dirty or perhaps a break in the circuitboard that operates the lights.
Bummer, as it is a neat light.

So far so good on mine too. I carry mine in a shirt pocket so less banging into stuff, but its apparent stoutness may be in question....let us know what Inova does.

Well just got a nice email from Inova with them promising me a replacement asap. We see how fast is their asap. But I think that it is a nice gesture from their side to provide me with an aswer and solution to a problem as fast as they did.

Mine's still working fine, too. As an aside, I just picked up one of the accessory kits for the 24/7 - it adds a headstrap that lets you wear it as a headlamp, and angle it up or down, a magnetic base that also lets you angle it, and four wall mounts and anchor screws to secure them.
I think that the headstrap makes this neat gadget light a much more practical light - and the magnetic base is also a good addition.

They did what they promised and I got my new light on Friday. I give them ten thumbs up as far as the customer service goes.
