I thought I'd do a quick review of another butane adapter. This one has legs, which can prevent some of the problems we saw with the last adapter I reviewed, but this one still isn't quite there yet.

Jim, Thanks for your comprehensive reviews. These adapters seem like a great way to complicate life, while saving trivial amounts of money. How many of us spend more than $50 a year on outdoor cooking fuel?

Yeah, in my opinion not worth it, especially with the risks involved. I've purchased several butane adapters to play with. They mostly sit in a box.

The only adapter that shows promise is the propane adapter that I reviewed recently. That propane adapter opens up some new doors. The cheapie butane adapters don't buy you much.

However, I've got one more butane adapter to review, the best of the bunch, so stay tuned. That one has a couple of uses, although it like the others does add some extra fiddling.

I've bought a Campingaz CV refill adapter from him off ebay and the stuff seems to be made to order from mostly brass

I purchased a threaded refiller from world_wide_2009 a couple of years ago. I've been refilling backpacking type gas canisters ever since. Very high quality stuff. I'd love to get more, but it's expensive.
