This hiker uses something like a solid fuel stove, but doesn't look like esbit.

Looks like ESBIT fuel to me. Evernew Ti stove. Even if not ESBIT brand, it's definitely hexamine.

It's hexamine and either Esbit brand or Firelite (that Ryan used to sell). In a quick search I am seeing that Grabber has branded Esbit fuel tablets...interesting.
