I have one of those also, as well as a conventional fleece blanket. The interesting thing is that the fleece in the bag is not nearly as substantial as the fleece in the regular blanket, and the bag is not nearly as warm as it could be. There is fleece and then there is fleece.....

Both are just fine in moderate temps. If it gets cold, you need a real bag, synthetic or down fill.

The only offense I take at a woobie is the name! Argh! Go suck your thumb with it smile

I actually snagged a fleece blanket when I was deployed - it now sits in my truck. Kind of funny, since it came in a giant "care package" to the chaplain. Something like 50 blankets, and there were several boxes over the months. And all came in the middle of summer when it was 120 out ... smirk

But funnier, to me at least, is that the blanket flew from the US to Afghanistan and back to the US. It's in my car full time (w/ a space blanket), and in winter a bivy cover gets thrown in as well.
