Thet PLB-110 is rated to transmit at a minimum of 5 watts throught it’s battery life and it is rated for 24 hours at -20C (-4F). Its depth rating is 10 meters (32.8 ft) for 5 minutes and 1 meter (3.28 ft) for an hour.

Very interesting that they chose more of a flat rectangular footprint rather than the more square design of the competition. I'm a little concerned about the durability of a case of this design to withstand impact. At the same time, the flat design would appear to be more "pocketable" which means that it is more likely to be kept on the person.

I will certainly want to hear more about this product as it comes closer to launch.
