Wow, it's hard to imagine not knowing Merle! He's actually still going strong today. I was a big fan of his when I was a kid. The only country music I really care for is the old school stuff (eg Haggard, Johnny Cash, etc).

I think some of these issues are less inflammatory than others. As a rule though - what are you trying to achieve with the bumper sticker? Usual rule of thumb is your thoughts can fit on a bumper sticker - think harder
