Salsa may have been the quickest cold liquid out of the icebox. (All of the water may have been in the solid form....?) The cold salsa was thick enough to adhere (evidently) and transfer the cold into the burn whereas the BEER not only would have been wasted, but would have just immediately run off the burn. :-)
