I have, in pieces, my old Svea 123 stove from the 70's/80's.
I'm looking to resurrect it, but I do not know:
a) if I have all the parts
b) where to get new ones
c) even how the thing goes back together. (I think I know, but it’s been years...)
Also, I'm missing the brass windscreen, the aluminum cup/cover, and the cup handle - need a source for those, as well.
Can anybody out there help with leads, info, expertise? Much appreciated if you can.

(like, who else?)
Cliff,
If you have photos of the parts that you do have, I think I can help you out. I own several Svea 123 and 123R's.
In terms of replacement parts, there is a little mom and pop operation in the US that sells parts for old stoves:
http://packstoves.com/ They are notoriously slow, their website is awful (in my opinion), but they often have what you need. My understanding is that this is a part time gig for them in addition to their day jobs and that both are well advanced in years.
There's a more professional operation in England,
http://www.base-camp.co.uk/ but you have to pay for international shipping.
You could write to Katadyn North America (Katadyn bought out Optimus a few years ago) and see what parts they might be able to provide you with.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
