I'll probably be drummed out of ETS for saying this, but when I'm going about my daily business in town I almost never EDC a knife.
All I carry is my wallet, cell phone and my keys. I do keep an LED light on my key ring. In my truck I keep some tools as well as a Streamlight LED headlamp, as well as a knife or two. When I do carry a knife it's generally a Kershaw Chive or Scallion.
When out of town I do carry knives.
I have several SAKs so I suppose I should try to get myself used to carrying one again. The problem is that I pathologically dislike carrying stuff in my pockets. It took years for me to get to where I could tolerate carrying a phone and even now I won't buy anything that's very big.
Years ago I carried a Spyderco Endura. Now I have a Delica in VG-10. That's probably small enough to carry.
