We've done the same thing, Montanero. They're very multi-purpose and work great. We've also added an led headlight or flashlight to all the bedside tables and a drawer in each of the bathrooms and kitchen. We change batteries every 6 Months when we change the clocks and smoke/co2 detector batteries.
